BELMONT, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey rallied from two sets down to force a fifth set, but came up just short to Lees-McRae Wednesday, falling 3-2 (25-21, 25-13, 23-25, 19-25, 15-10) in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action.
Tyler Case posted a double-double of 11 kills and a team-high 19 digs.
With the result, the Crusaders fall to 4-16 overall and 4-8 in league play, while the Bobcats improved to 12-7, 9-2.
