TOCCOA, Ga. and HICKORY, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey men's golf team concluded its fall season by finishing up the final rounds of its two tournaments Tuesday at Toccoa Golf Club and Lake Hickory Country Club.
At the Currahee Invitational, the Crusaders concluded the second day with the final 27 holes of the tournament. After the second 18 holes was completed Tuesday morning, the Abbey finished with a 6-over 294 to close the tournament with a three-round total of 897 and in 11th place overall.
Jacob Ferrari was the top finisher for the Crusaders and had the best round by a Belmont Abbey player with a final round even-par 72.
Connor Rose was the second-best finisher with a 74 while
Will Locey and
Lee Carew both finished the tournament with 226 total scores.
At the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational, the Crusaders improved from the first two rounds and closed the tournament with a final round 311.
Brodie Perry was the top finisher for The Abbey by closing the tournament with a final-round 74 and was tied for 22nd. As a team, the Crusaders finished ninth.
