SALISBURY, N.C. -- Eliott Wunder covered 8k in 27:49.3 Saturday morning to lead Belmont Abbey to a seventh-place finish at the Fleet Feet Invitational, hosted by Catawba. The Crusaders scored 172 in the meet, which was the 2022 season opener.

Wunder placed 33rd overall.

Wingate took home the team title, while Catawba's Erick Ramirez won the individual race in a time of 25:34.5.
