CHARLOTTE, N.C. --
Nick Berrios surpassed his best time of the season by one second Friday afternoon, helping Belmont Abbey to a third-place team finish in the Queen City Invite's Open Division. The junior from Daphne, Ala., covered the 8K course in 26:44.0.
Jacob Parkinson of Lenoir-Rhyne was the overall winner with a time of 25:25.0. Rhinehardt won the team title, following by the Bears and Crusaders.
