BELMONT, N.C. -- Baylea Botello tallied seven kills without an error, but UNC Pembroke handed Belmont Abbey a 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-12) setback in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Tuesday night.

With the result, the Crusaders fall to 2-15 overall and 0-3 in league play. The Braves improve to- 6-10, 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Botello hit .583 on 12 attempts. She also added a dig and block assist.
• Sarah Wilson and Haley Davidson registered six kills each. Davidson also chipped in five digs and a block assist.
• Zoe Schuberth was credited with a team-high eight assists, while Caitlyn Faber dished out 25 assists.
• Alyssa Adkins served two of The Abbey's three aces.
