BELMONT, N.C. --
Matteo Miselli tallied a season-high 22 kills and hit .381, but Belmont Abbey dropped a 3-1 decision to King in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action Tuesday night.
The contest was the regular-season home finale for the Crusaders (14-14, 5-8), while King improves to 15-11, 9-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kyle Ferguson added 12 kills, while hitting .318. Riley Mulkey connected at a .467 pace, with eight kills against one error in 15 chances.
- Jack Walsh dished out 50 assists, the freshman's second-highest total of the season behind 56 at King on March 2.
- Andrew Kohut tallied eight kills, seven digs and three service aces. He tied the single-season aces record at 43.
- Daniel Cerqua led the defensive effort with eight digs, while Walsh also registered seven.
- The Crusaders were credited with 19 block assists.

- Belmont Abbey wraps up the regular season on Saturday at Erskine.
