BRISTOL, TENN. – The Belmont Abbey Acrobatics & Tumbling team earned a pair of three individual event championships during the Event Finals as part of the Conference Carolinas Championship Sunday at King University.
Belmont Abbey won a titles in the Open Toss with a 9.5 out of a 9.9 start value with a team that included
Madison Quinlan,
Kristin Fary,
Aspen Terrell,
Anna Davis,
Emily Wueste and
Molly Hanley. It is the second straight year that The Abbey has earned that title in that event.
Desislava Yordanova also won an individual title in Aerial Tumbling with a 9.625/9.9. It is the second straight year that Yordanova has won the title in that event.
The Crusaders competed in a total of 10 events during the finals, finishing in second place in four events: Seven-Element Acro, 450 Salto Toss, Duo Tumbling and Open Tumbling.
