GREENWOOD, S.C. – Ben Loudermilk earned his second Top 5 finish of the season after shooting a 1-under-par 71 to lead the Belmont Abbey men's golf team during the final round of the Bearcat Classic Tuesday at Greenwood Country Club. Loudermilk (70-72-71—213) finished at 3-under-par and finished tied for fifth with two other golfers. It is the best finish that he's had since he finished tied for third at the Kiawah Island Invitiational back in September.
As a team, the Crusaders finished even par (292-298-288—878) as a team and tied for sixth overall after three golfers finished under par for the day.
Jack Warren had the low round of the day for The Abbey, closing with a final round 70 (74-76-70—220) while
Andrew Rose (73-75-71—219) shot 71. Rose and Warren finished tied for 24th and 29th, respectively.
Connor Fahey (75-75-76—226) shot 76 while
Jacob Ferrari (76-79-80—235) shot 80 for the day.
