WILSON, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey hit .349 as a team behind
Andrew Kohut's 17 kills, leading the Crusaders to a 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-12) win at Barton in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action Saturday afternoon.
With the win, The Abbey improves to 14-9 overall and 5-5 in league play. Barton remain winless at 0-14, 0-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kohut had just four errors in 31 chances to register a .419 hitting percentage. He also tallied three digs, two aces and a block assist.
- Matteo Miselli added 10 kills, hitting .333, with five digs.
- Gage Giller was credited with a team-high eight digs, while chipping in five kills, two assist and two aces.
- Jack Walsh had 38 assists, five digs and five block assists from his setter position.
- As a team, the Crusaders tallied 41 kills against 13 errors in 81 chances.
