ALBANY, GA. – The Belmont Abbey men's golf team finished fifth after the final round of the Hurricane Invitational Tuesday at Doublegate Country Club. The Crusaders combined to shoot 299 as a team for a three-day total of 876 (292-285-299).
Jack Warren shot a 1-over par 73 for the low round of the day for the Crusaders and was followed just behind by
Jacob Ferrari, who shot 74. Ben Loudermilk closed the tournament with a final-round 75 and compiled a score of 217 (72-70-75) for the tournament to be the top finisher for The Abbey.
The "B" and "C" team took the top two spots at the Pfeiffer Invitational at Lion's Paw in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. The B team won the event with a score of 35-over (611), while the C team was runner-up at 635 (+59). Crusaders took three of the top five places individually.
