Andrew Kohut tallied 21 kills and seven aces and
Jack Walsh added a career-high 40 assists, leading Belmont Abbey to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-12) victory over Benedict in men's volleyball action Friday night.
The victory was the second in three days against the Tigers, who were playing their first home game in program history.
The Crusaders improve to 7-2, while the Benedict falls to 0-4.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kohut had just one error in 25 chances, hitting .800 in the contest. He also had four digs and a team-high three block solos.
- Matteo Miselli also reached double figures in kills with 12, hitting .368.
- In addition to his assists, Walsh had a team-best five digs.
- Belmont Abbey hit .444 as a team, the fourth-highest total in school history.
