ALBANY, GA. – The Belmont Abbey men's golf team is in fifth place in a strong field following the first 36 holes of play at the Hurricane Invitational Monday at Doublegate Country Club. The Crusaders finished with a two-round total of 577 (292-285) and was led by Ben Loudermilk, who finished with rounds of 72 and 70 and is currently tied for eighth individually at 2-under par.
Jack Warren also closed his day with a second-round 70 while
Jacob Ferrari opened the tournament with a 70 as well. Belmont Abbey is only seven strokes behind first place Carson-Newman.

OCEAN ISLE, N.C. – Brendan Kelly and
Eli Kinlaw are both tied on top of the leaderboard after both opened with rounds of 2-over par 74 Monday at the Pfeiffer Invitaitonal at Lion's Paw Golf Club. The two golfers led the way for the two teams competing at the event for The Abbey. The first Belmont Abbey team leads with a 311 followed by the second team with a 317.
Five of the top 10 golfers are Crusaders, including Steven Weider (78, T5),
Will Locey (79, T8) and
Jake Snelgrove (79, T8).
