BELMONT, N.C. --
Matteo Miselli and
Andrew Kohut combined for 29 kills and a .440 hitting percentage, leading Belmont Abbey to a 3-0 (29-27, 29-27, 25-18) victory over Erskine in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action Saturday.
With the win, the Crusaders improve to 9-4 overall and 2-1 in league play, while The Flying Fleet fall to 4-11, 2-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Miselli had 16 kills against four errors in 28 chances to hit .429, while Kohut registered a .455 hitting percentage with 13 kills (13k-3e-22a).
- Miselli also led the defensive effort with six of The Abbey's 22 digs.
- Jack Walsh dished out 40 assists with two digs. He also had four block assists and a service ace.
- Both teams enjoyed solid hitting percentages -- .356 for The Abbey and .306 for Erskine.
