SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Makenna Pallozzi earned all-conference honors for the second straight year in leading Belmont Abbey to a fifth-place finish at the 2022 Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Championship Saturday morning at Milliken Research Park. The placing equaled the best by the Crusaders since 2017.

Pallozzi placed 20th overall in a time of 24:40.1 to gain a spot on the third team. Jackline Kosgei of UNC Pembroke won the individual race in a time of 22:06.0.
