ELON, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey women's basketball started the Kim Lusk era Friday night, facing Elon in its first official exhibition action. Sophomore Abigail Crain tallied a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Crusaders.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Taylor Stelley also reached double figures with 15 points, while also adding four rebounds and an assist.
• Six other players tallied points.
• Only three of the nine players who saw action had previous appearances in an Abbey uniform.
• Belmont Abbey held Elon to 43.1 percent shooting from the field, but hit just 23.4 percent on the offensive end.
