Haley Davidson and
Jenna McCullough each topped double figures in kills as Bowman Abbey pushed Conference Carolinas West Division leader North Greenville all day Saturday at the Wheeler Center. But in the end, the visitors escaped with a 3-1 (35-33, 22-25, 25-23, 25-7 victory.
With the result, NGU improves to 14-7 overall and remains undefeated in league play at 10-0. The Abbey falls to 4-18, 2-6.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Davidson registered 14 kills and a .220 hitting percentage while McCullough added 13 kills.
- Bailey Botello chipped in nine kills on a .240 hitting rate,
- Caitlin Faber dished out 38 assists and had seven digs.
- Zoe Schuberth was the defensive leader with 19 digs, while Caroline Dobson added 12.
