Jenna McCullough registered a .405 hitting percentage with 19 kills and
Caitlyn Faber tallied a double-double, leading Belmont Abbey to a 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21) victory over Converse Wednesday night.
With the win, the Crusaders improve to 5-18 overall, 3-6 in Conference Carolinas play, while the Valkyries fall to 6-14, 3-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Haley Davidson added 12 kills with a .258 hitting percentage.
- Faber's double-double of 40 assists and 15 digs was her fourth of the season. She also served a career-best three aces.
- Zoe Schuberth was credited with a career-high 27 digs. It was the fourth-highest total ever in a four-set match.
- Caroline Dobson (15) and Trinity Bradley (12) also reached double figures in digs.
