AIKEN, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey men's soccer team took a break from conference play and faced off against USC Aiken Saturday evening at the Pacer Pit.
The Crusaders took 12 shots but the Pacers came away with the 3-0 victory.
Belmont Abbey is now 1-8-3 on the season while USC Aiken is 2-8.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Noah Stanger saw his first action of the season for Belmont Abbey by getting the start in goal.
- Ryan Cowie also made his first start of the season for the Crusaders.
- The Pacers scored their first goal in the 13th minute and added a second in the 24th minute.
- Connor Jeanes took the first shot of the match for Belmont Abbey.
- USC Aiken scored the third goal in the 50th minute.
- Samuel Cardona led Belmont Abbey with three shots in his first action of the season.
