PEMBROKE, N.C. --
Caitlyn Faber posted her eighth double-double of the season and
Cameron Young and
Jenna McCullough each tallied eight kills, but East Division leader UNC Pembroke earned a 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-21) victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Friday night.
Faber tallied 11 digs, tied for the team lead, and 23 assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- McCullough had just three errors in 21 attempts for a .238 hitting percentage, while Young connected at a .200 pace (8k-4e-20a).
- Haley Davidson added five kills.
- Zoe Schuberth shared the digs lead with 11. Young reached double figures as well with 10.
- The Crusaders had five aces, led by Schuberth and Trinity Bradley with two each.
