FLORENCE, S.C. --
Jenna McCullough tallied 11 kills and
Caitlyn Faber added 28 assists, but Francis Marion earned a 3-0 (25-18, 27-25, 25-17) win over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon.
The contest closed out the 2022 season for the Crusaders (6-26 overall and 3-14 in league play). France Marion improves to 14-11, 9-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- McCullough had just three errors in 26 chances to hit a team-best .308.
- Cameron Young added eight kills, while Haley Davidson hit at a .294 clip with six kills against one error.
- Young also registered a team-best 12 digs and a service ace.
- Faber's assists total in the contest put her over 1,000 for her career (1,014 total).
- The contest marked the final game for three seniors -- Faber, Baylea Botello and Ally Jones.
