GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey wrestling team was selected to finish third in the 2022-23 South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men's Wrestling Preseason Poll that was unveiled by the league office Friday. The preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches. The Crusaders earned 77 points in the poll, including one first place vote.
Defending champion Lander was selected as the top team in the conference followed by Newberry. UNC Pembroke and King took the fourth and fifth spots, respectively, in the poll behind Belmont Abbey.

The Crusaders open the 2022-23 season Wednesday, November 2 at 1 p.m. against St. Andrew's. That match will be held outdoors on the Quad.
