NEWBERRY, S.C. -- Belmont Abbey placed all five scoring runners in the top 20, leading the Crusaders to a slim victory over Truett-McConnell to win the Run the Berry race Saturday morning. The Abbey totaled 68 points, just three ahead of the Bears.

Makenna Pallozzi placed fifth overall in 19:31.06. Savannah Campbell of Truett-McConnell was the overall winner with a time of 18:28.3.
