Jenna McCullough hit .455 with 11 kills and
Caitlyn Faber had her second straight double-double, but King earned a 3-1 (25-16, 19-25, 25-23, 25-16) victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Wednesday night.
With the result, the Crusaders fall to 5-22 overall and 3-10 in league play. King improves to 12-12, 7-6.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Baylea Botello tallied eight kills with Mia Samaha and Haley Davidson adding four each.
- Faber's double-double, her sixth of the season, featured team highs in assists (25) and digs (15). She also tallied three block assists.
- Samaha and Trinity Bradley also reached double figures in digs with 11 and 10, respectively.
- Botello chipped in seven blocks (one solo, six assists).
UP NEXT
- Belmont Abbey plays its final home matches of the 2022 season on Saturday.
