ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- Belmont Abbey closed out its weekend trip to the Chicagoland region Saturday night, dropping its second straight decision to a ranked team. The Crusaders fell to No. 7 Lewis by a 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-19) count.

The Abbey now stands 3-2 overall, while the Flyers improve to 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Matteo Miselli led the team with six kills, while Riley Mulkey added five.
• Andrew Kohut, making his first appearance of the season, tallied four kills in one set of action, while Brian Knoerr also had four kills.
• Freshman Jack Walsh dished out a career-high 16 assists.
• Kyle Ferguson and Alex Winiarczyk posted three digs each.
• Belmont Abbey hit just .091, while Lewis connected at a .406 clip.
