WILSON, N.C. --
Hailey Ryan tallied 25 digs -- her third highest total this season -- and
Lauren Hamilton added a dozen kills, but Barton rebounded for a 3-1 (19-25, 25-, 25-, 25-) victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Saturday morning.
Belmont Abbey falls to 4-7 overall and 2-6 in league play, while Barton improves to 3-8, 3-4.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Crusaders won the opening set 25-19 by hitting .324 (15k-3e-37a). However, Barton limited The Abbey to -.018 over the next three sets.
- Jenna McCullough and Katie Williams added seven kills each.
- Paige Rawlins recorded her eighth double-double in 10 matches this year with 22 assists and 11 digs.
- Caitlyn Faber came off the bench to contribute nine assists and nine digs.
- Williams added three service aces.
