Lauren Hamilton and
Katie Williams both topped double figures in kills, but Belmont Abbey dropped a 3-0 (25-19, 26-24, 25-21) decision at Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Friday afternoon.
The Crusaders fall to 4-6, 2-5, while the Trojans improve to 4-2 overall and in league play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hamilton hit .292 with 11 kills and four errors in 24 attempts,
- Williams added 10 kills with a .188 hitting percentage (10k-4e-32a). She also added eight digs and an assist.
- Paige Rawlins just missed a double-double with 19 assists and nine digs. She also had three aces
- Hailey Ryan led the defensive effort with 18 digs, while also serving an ace.
