FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. -- Katie Williams tallied 10 kills and seven digs, but Belmont Abbey dropped a 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-17) decision at Emmanuel in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon.

William also had an ace and a block for the Crusaders (4-5, 2-4).

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Paige Rawlins hit .438 with seven kills against no errors in 16 attempts. She also dished out 15 assists and made six digs.
• Hailey Ryan led the defensive effort with 17 digs.
• Belmont Abbey hit .127 as a team.
