BELMONT, N.C. - The Belmont Abbey women's soccer team lost a 1-0 contest this afternoon to UNC Pembroke. The Crusaders finish the season with a 7-8-1 record, with a 7-4-1 conference record and the no. 5 seed in the Conference Carolinas tournament. UNC Pembroke improves to 13-4-0 overall, and 11-1-0 in Conference Carolinas play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Logan Parry took the first Abbey shot of the game, in the 16th minute. The teams were tied at zero at halftime
- The Braves scored the lone goal of the contest in the 66th minute
- Lauryn Hardinng made a season-high 14 saves in goal

Belmont Abbey will host the no 8 seed on Wednesday, November 3 at 7 p.m. The opponent will either be Chowan or Emmanuel.
