MORGANTON, N.C. The Belmont Abbey men's golf team closed out the 2021 fall season with a second place finish at the Donald Ross Intercollegiate. The tournament concluded Tuesday at Mimosa Hills Golf Club. The Crusaders finished with a three-day total of 850 (285-282-283) and finished two shots behind Mount Olive for the title.
Jack Warren wrapped up his best tournament of the fall with a final-round 69 and ended the tournament at 2-under par and a tie for second place.
Jacob Ferrari also earned a top 10 finish thanks to a final round 70.
Connor Fahey (72-72-71—215) and Ben Loudermilk (71-71-73—215) also both finished inside the top 20 overall.

INDIVIDUALS
WIth the final tournament of the fall season the Crusaders had four top five finishes, two second place finishes, with a scoring average of 283.5, tenth best in the country. The Crusaders were ranked ninth in last weeks regional poll.

The Crusaders will return to the course in 2022 for the spring season.
