KANNAPOLIS, N.C. The Belmont Abbey men's golf team currently sits in eighth place after the first 36 holes at the Queens Invitational Monday at The Club at Irish Creek. The Crusaders were one of eight teams to finish the first day under par, finishing at -1 after rounds of 286 and 281.
Connor Fahey led the way for the Crusaders with rounds of 73 and 67 to finish with a total of 140, which is tied for 25th overall.
Jacob Ferrari finished 1-under-par for the day (70-71—141) while
Jack Warren finished even par for the day as well (72-70—142).
The final round tees off Tuesday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
