MORRISTOWN, TENN. Junior Brendan Kelly and sophomore Will Locey put together solid rounds to open the Walters State Fall Classic Monday at The Country Club.
Kelly finished the day with an even par round of 72 to stand in second place after 18 holes and Locey shot a one-over par 73 and is tied for third with two other golfers. Belmont Abbey has two teams competing in the event with the B team in third place with a team score of 302 and C team just behind with a 310.
Tyler Schaap and Brodie Perry both finished the day with identical rounds of 75 and are tied for ninth with four other golfers.The tournament concludes Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
