WILSON, N.C. -- Cameron Young tallied 13 kills and Lauren Hamilton added 10, but Barton rallied for a 3-1 (17-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-14) victory in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Friday night.

The Crusaders drop to 1-14 overall and 1-4 in league play, while the Bulldogs improve to 4-4, 1-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Young hit .133 (13-7-45), while Hamilton connected at a .192 clip (10-5-26).
• Paige Rawlins registered 29 assists and eight digs. She also hit .273 with three kills and no errors in 11 attempts.
• Hailey Ryan sparked the defensive effort with 15 digs, while Trinity Bradley added 11. It was Ryan's 12 double-figure effort as the libero, including six straight.
• Young served two of the Crusaders' five aces.
• Bailey Rose made four blocks (three solo) with Jenna McCullough and Sarah Wilson chipping in two each.
