CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey women's lacrosse team lost a 23-7 decision today at #5-ranked Queens, moving their record to 0-2 on the season.  It was Queens' season opener.

How it Happened

• Queens scored three goals early, but Marin Felsoci scored a goal 3:28 into the contest to get the Crusaders on the board
• Kylie Eastman tallied the next score for The Abbey, making it a 5-2 Queens lead
• The Royals led 14-5 at halftime
• Queens scored early in the second.  Eastman set up Allison Cline for a score at the 12:03 mark.  Felsoci scored a free position goal just two minutes later, making it a 20-7 Queens lead
• The Royals finished off the 23-7 win
• Felsoci led the Crusaders with two goals
