DUE WEST, S.C. - Kylie Eastman scored a season-high nine saves, and the Belmont Abbey Women's Lacrosse team earned a 26-16 win at Erskine College this afternoon.  With the victory, The Abbey improves to 7-7 on the year, including 5-2 in conference play.  The Flying Fleet dipped to 3-11 overall, and 3-5 against Conference Carolinas opponents.

How it Happened

• Marin Felsoci only needed 38 seconds to put The Abbey on the board.  Later in the half, Eastman scored two goals in a span of 24 seconds, to put the Crusaders in front 5-0
• After an Erskine goal, Eastman again scored two in a row for the Crusaders, putting BAC on top 7-1
• Later in the half, it was Jenna Niedzwiedzki scoring two in a row for The Abbey, one off a pass from Lauren Offerman and one from Katherine Haenlein
• Niedzwiedzki found the back of the net again at the 12:11 mark for an 11-4 Abbey lead.  Offerman closed out the half with a free position goal, and Belmont Abbey held a 14-7 advantage at halftime
• In the second half, Angelina Perrone was the first Crusader to score.  She later set up Katie Call for a goal and a 17-8 BAC lead
• At the 18:16 mark, Felsoci scored a man-up goal.  The Crusaders got another man-up score just minutes later to take a 21-11 lead
• Niedzwiedzki scored three goals in the final six minutes, including the last two of the game, to finish off the 26-16 win
• On the day, Eastman was the Crusaders' leader offensively, with nine goals and two assists for 11 points
• Allison Cline scored three goals
• Felsoci won a game-high 12 draw controls.  Eastman won six
• Belmont Abbey outshot the Flying Fleet 46-30
