BELMONT, N.C. - Kylie Eastman scored six goals and handed out four assists, but the Belmont Abbey women's lacrosse team came up short of Limestone, losing the contest 17-12.  The Abbey is now 6-7 on the season, with a 4-2 conference record.  The Saints move to 12-1, and 7-0 in conference play.

How it Happened

• Limestone scored the first five goals, before Katie Cavanaugh got The Abbey on the board off a pass from Eastman.  A minute later Eastman set up Angelina Perrone for a goal and a 5-2 game
• In the closing minutes of the half, Eastman scored two goals to pull the Crusaders to within 9-5 before two late Saint goals gave Limestone a 11-5 lead at halftime
• Belmont Abbey won nine draw controls in the first half, to Limestone's eight
• Eastman scored the first goal of the second half, and Jenna Niedzwiedski followed up with another to being BAC to within four goals at 11-7
• Later in the half, Eastman scored three goals in a span of 57 seconds, one off a free position, making it a 17-10 Limestone lead
• Marin Felsoci closed out the game with scores at the 3:31 and :01 marks, but the game ended with Limestone on top 17-12
• On the day, Eastman was the Crusaders leader offensively, with six goals and four assists, for a total of 10 points.  She also picked up three ground balls
• Felsoci picked up five ground balls, tying for the game-high
• Annie Brannon made seven saves in goal
