Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. - Kylie Eastman scored twice and handed out two assists, for a total of four points, but the Belmont Abbey women's lacrosse team lost a 23-7 game at #3-ranked Florida Southern this evening. The Crusaders are now 5-6 on the year, while the Moccasins now stand at 8-1.
How it Happened
- After five early Florida Southern goals, Eastman got the Crusaders on the board at the 20:06 mark
- After a Moccasin goal with 19:22 left in the half, Marin Felsoci won the draw control, and scored less than a minute later
- Later in the half, Katie Call scored two Abbey goals in a row, one off a pass from Eastman
- With 7:38 left in the half, Eastman took advantage of a man-up opportunity with a goal, and the Crusaders trailed 14-6 at halftime
- In the second, Angelina Perrone scored the lone Crusader goal, at the 8:51 mark
- On the night, Eastman was the Crusaders' offensive leader, with two goals and two assists
- Call scored twice. Sarah Schaefer picked up a team-high three ground balls
