SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Sam Lynch earned his first career top 10 finish at the Upstate Invitational, covering the 8k course in a time of 26:54.1. He was 10th in the field overall, but ninth among collegians and third among Division II runners.

As a team, the Crusaders finished third behind host USC Upstate and Lincoln Memorial.
