ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Belmont Abbey women's cross country team ran to a fourth-place finish this evening at the Asheville Invitational. It was the second meet The Abbey has competed in this season.
How it Happened
- Senior Julia Otranto led the way for the Crusaders, crossing the finish line in 20:05.66, good enough for 12th place overall
- Junior Hannah Zenker was next in line for Belmont Abbey, and 18th overall, with a 20:49.85 run
- Freshman Keely Weber also made a top-20 finish, finishing the race in 21:06.73
- Rachel Lang was right behind Weber, as she completed the course with a time of 21:12.21
