The Belmont Abbey men's volleyball team lost in three sets at Pfeiffer this evening inside Merner Gym. Pfeiffer improves to 12-3 overall and 11-1 in league play as the Falcons won by scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-13. The Crusaders drop to 8-9 overall and 4-5 in Conference Carolinas.

Junior Nolan Albrecht led the Crusaders with nine kills. Anthony Pippen added six. Derek Sullivan handed out 10 assists with Jon Lowenhagen adding a pair.

Brandon Kimbrell and Dustin Buell each had two service aces as the Crusaders finished with six.

Defensively, Lowenhagen led the Crusaders with eight kills, while Albrecht added seven. Pippen contributed four.

Brennan Beyner led the Crusaders at the net, posting three block assists. Albrecht, Buell and Sullivan each had a pair.
