LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Senior Julia Otranto and freshman Cameron Davis set new school records Saturday, highlighting Belmont Abbey's participation at the Liberty University Invitational.
Otranto, a native of Asheboro, N.C., covered the distance in 2:23.95, besting her previous mark of 2:24.58 at the 2017 Conference Carolinas Indoor Championship (2/19/17).
Davis, placed 33rd in the long jump with a mark of 4.93 meters. She outdistanced the record of 4.82 meters previously held by Natalie Nelson (1/20/18).
