Biography

High school: Brennan earned 8 letters at Kent Roosevelt High school participating in Volleyball, Football, Soccer, and track and field. While under coaches Shawn Jones and Mikayla Pritts he earned awards such as Northeast Region of Ohio Player of the Year, two time first team all-state, two time Team MVP, three time regional first team, and once regional second team while also setting all of his high school hitting records and hitting over 400 kills his junior and senior year.

Club: He played two years at Academy Volleyball of Cleveland (AVC) in which they placed 3rd in the club pool his junior year, and 14th in the open pool his senior year. While under National Champion winning coach Joshua Stanheiser, John Hawks, and Casey Morcello, AVC never dropped a set in the Ohio Valley region.

Personal: Brennan was raised by Joyclenn Beyner and Marty Beyner, for whom he accredits his passion for volleyball to his father who grew up playing beach and court volleyball. His twin brother Brad Beyner attends Kent State University and is currently the setter on their club volleyball team. Brennan plans to major in business management and is committed to earning his degree.
