CLEMSON, S.C. -- Belmont Abbey Rugby opened its 15s season in impressive fashion Saturday, shutting out Clemson in non-conference action. The Crusaders broke open a 7-0 halftime lead with 29 second-half points in the 36-0 victory.
Bryce Hogan scored three tries, including one by penalty and
Will Rimes added two more to lead the Crusaders.
Belmont Abbey begins Atlantic Rugby Conference action next week at Wheeling.
