BELMONT, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team closed out its home schedule with a pair of victories Friday at the Reidy Tennis Center.
The Crusaders defeated Methodist 4-3 in the first match of the day and earned a 6-1 win over Young Harris to remain undefeated in Conference Carolinas play.
The full box scores from both matches will be up later.
Against Young Harris, the Crusaders took the doubles point and won five of the six singles matches to take the victory.
Isaac Buerkle and
Cameron Simpson won in both singles and doubles play for the Abbey.
With Friday's results, Belmont Abbey is now 21-16 overall and 10-0 in Conference Carolinas play.
