BELMONT, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team continued its busy final week of the season with a 4-3 victory over Averett Tuesday at the Reidy Tennis Center.
The Crusaders earned the win after taking two of three doubles matches and three of the six singles matches.
Lucas Trigo provided the clinching point for the Crusaders in a three-set tiebreaker victory over Florian Bert.
Peyton Williams and
Jack McGregor also earned wins in singles.
With Tuesday's results, Belmont Abbey is now 19-16 while Averett is 7-7.
