SMYRNA, Tenn. -- Belmont Abbey defeated second-ranked Vanderbilt 1,072-1,002 in a head-to-head traditional match, highlighting the Crusaders Saturday at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic. The Abbey won four of its five matches, including two of three against Division I opponents.

Canan Bademci earned all-tournament honors with a top-10 individual finish. She averaged 217.6 over five games to place ninth.

Based on total pinfall, the Crusaders rank 18th through qualifying and will bowl in the 15th-20th Placement matches on Sunday.
