BELMONT, N.C./SALISBURY, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team put together a pair of sweeps as the Crusaders returned to the court for matches at home against Emmanuel and on the road at Livingstone Thursday.
In the home match against the Lions, the Abbey earned a 7-0 win while another group of Crusaders earned a 4-0 win over the Blue Bears.
The Crusaders took all three doubles matches from the Lions and won all five matches played in straight sets from
Alexis Burkhalter,
Kaitlin Nguyen,
Mackenzie McCarthy,
Hanley Riner and
Rebekka Collyer.
At Livingstone,
Leilany Sanchez won both of her matches played.
Belmont Abbey improves to 4-0 and have won four straight matches.
