INDIANAPOLIS —The Belmont Abbey women's basketball team was ranked No. 10 in the final Southeast Regional rankings that were released Wednesday by the NCAA.
The Crusaders ended the regular season last week with a 74-59 victory over Lees-McRae and enter the Conference Carolinas Tournament as the No. 3 seed.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selection.
Belmont Abbey and Francis Marion are the two conference schools represented in the rankings. The Patriots are No. 6.

The Crusaders will take on No. 6 seed Chowan in the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C.
