NEWPORT, Ky. -- Belmont Abbey won two of its three matches Saturday at the 2026 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Women's Bowling Championship to earn its third straight championship match appearance. Just like last year, the Crusaders will need to defeat Emmanuel in the Mega-Match, then in the if-necessary Baker match to secure a third straight league title and NCAA Tournament bid.
The Abbey, seeded No. 1, defeated No. 3 Ursuline earned in day's first match before being swept by Conference Carolinas rival Emmanuel. The Crusaders bounced back with a 4-1 win over No. 4 Walsh to advance to Sunday.
The Belmont Abbey-Emmanuel match will begin at 9 a.m. with a second match to follow if needed.
