NEWPORT, Ky. -- Belmont Abbey rolled a three-game series total of 2,700, earning the No. 1 seed during the morning qualifying round of the 2025 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Women's Bowling Championship, being held at SuperBowl Bellewood.

In the first round of play, contested later in the afternoon, the Crusaders swept No. 6 Barton, 4-0.

With the win, the Crusaders will face No. 3 Walsh or No.4 Ursuline  at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
