BELMONT, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team extended its match-winning streak to nine as the Crusaders defeated King and Lander in home matches Wednesday afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.
The Crusaders won another Conference Carolinas match with a 6-1 victory over the Tornado and then followed that up with a 6-1 victory over the Bearcats.
The Abbey won all six doubles matches Wednesday and won all five matches from No. 2 through No. 6 singles.
Belmont Abbey is now 10-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play with Wednesday's results.
